A documentary about Nicholas Winton, an Englishman who, from March to August 1939, managed to save 669 children of primarily Jewish origin from the death transports and find new families for them in the United Kingdom. After World War II broke out, Winton joined the Royal Air Force. He never spoke to anyone about what he had done. Only in 1988 did his wife find materials documenting the whole event. The facts were made public and, eventually, Winton met some of “his” children.

Dokumentárny film o Angličanovi Nicholasovi Wintonovi, ktorému sa od marca do augusta 1939 podarilo zachrániť 669 detí prevažne židovského pôvodu pred transportmi smrti a nájsť im nové rodiny vo Veľkej Británii. Po vypuknutí druhej svetovej vojny vstúpil Winton do služieb Britského kráľovského letectva. O svojom čine nikomu nepovedal. Až v roku 1988 objavila jeho manželka materiály dokumentujúce celú udalosť. Došlo k zverejneniu faktov a Winton sa nakoniec stretol s niektorými zo „svojich“ detí.
